KVKK privacy notice

As Pik Otomasyon Elektrik ve Kontrol Sistemleri San. Tic. Ltd. Şti., acting as "Data Controller" under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), we would like to inform you that your personal data are processed as explained below and within the limits set by the legislation.

5. Method of collection and legal basis

Your personal data are collected through the quotation and contact form on our website, by e-mail, by phone and through physical application channels. Processing is based on the following legal grounds in Article 5, paragraph 2 of the KVKK: being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract (sub-paragraph c), the data controller fulfilling its legal obligation (sub-paragraph ç), and the legitimate interest of the data controller, provided that the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject are not harmed (sub-paragraph f).

6. Data retention period

Your personal data are erased, destroyed or anonymised once the purpose of processing no longer exists and the statutory retention periods have expired. Your data arising from commercial and tax relations are retained for 10 years under Article 82 of the Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102 and for 5 years under Article 253 of the Tax Procedure Law No. 213.

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the following rights:

• To learn whether your personal data are processed
• To request information if your personal data have been processed
• To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in line with that purpose
• To know the persons to whom personal data are transferred
• To request rectification of personal data that have been processed incompletely or inaccurately
• To request their erasure or destruction within the scope of the Law
• To request that rectification, erasure and destruction operations be notified to the third parties to whom the data have been transferred
• To object to a result arising from analysis carried out exclusively by automated systems
• To claim compensation if you suffer damage due to processing in breach of the KVKK
